SURVEILLANCE WORK SCOPE
The scope of work Preamble:
deliver end to end solutions and has the capabilities to meet their security needs and mitigate their risk. At Mahindra we have been providing total Security solutions and have been serving various clients. At Mahindra, we believe in continuously upgrading the quality of our resources and infrastructures through various training programs so as to support ever changing customer requirements.
Action Performed:
Northern area is vulnerable to theft. In some cases the sites have been robbed by locals even when ODCs are equipped with 02 no’s inter locks along with pad locks.
Due to theft / robbery cases, the network availability has an adverse effect. Presently more than 400 theft cases reported under O&M bucket and nearly 8 Cr material stolen in every north circle. Further in few cases company are not able to get insurance claim as these theft cases are not getting registered (FIR) with local police.
Due to above reason, It is decided to keep patrolling teams with QRT at Maintenance Point and Bike Patroller at 15 KM Periphery i.e. 7.00 PM to 7.00 AM & 7.00 AM to 7.00 PM in 5 CMPs.
- Vendor to provide patrolling through bike daily on sites coming under 15 Km periphery/25sites in single town.
- Have to do patrolling daily 3 to 4 times on routes. (2 time in day time & 2 time in night) or depending upon the condition of sites
- If any suspicious activity found then patroller have to report to QRT / area manager/technician immediately and has to try to stop that activity.
- One QRT vehicle on maintenance point to give back up to patrolling team and one QRT will be on round in field. Will give assistance to Patrolling team on call basis.
- By doing rigorous patrolling the theft cases will be minimized and will be eliminated.
- In case any theft happens, security agency will get the FIR done within 48 Hours, it is required to replenish the material against theft material
- Vendor will do investigation for theft or busting out gangs, person with Liasioning with Local police.

Reward & Penalty.
If there is no theft on sites than there will be a reward of 10% to 15 on monthly invoice value of that maintenance point.
If theft happen than penalty will as per below mark
- Theft up to 50K : 5 % of invoice value
- Theft value b/w 50K to 2Lakh : 10 % of invoice value.
- Theft more than 2 lakh : 15 % of invoice value.
- Salary of concerned patroller for that month in addition
- 15% penalty of invoice value will be applicable if more than one incident happens irrespective of theft value
- Three consecutive penalty occurrence will lead to termination of contract.
- Monthly review of service will be there to verify the service level.
